Our (first) nephew was born the morning of Monday, March 8th at 3:25am, weight in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces and 20 inches long. Welcome to the world and our family!
Due to heightened security, our kiddos were not allowed to visit Mitchell in the hospital. Our niece Mikaela very kindly played with Jack and Brooke in the waiting area while we visited with Mitchell. On the way home from the hospital, I had some very funny conversations with Jack.
Jack: Next time you get me in [the hospital room] to see Mitchell because he is going to miss me.
Jack: What did Mitchell say to you when you saw him?
Me: Mitchell is too little to talk but he does cry.
Jack: Why does he cry?
Me: Babies usually cry when they are tired or hungry.
Jack: Maybe he needs a may-may (what our kiddos call their "lovely" blankets). Lets take him home and I'll give him one of my may-mays.
Me: Did you have fun playing with Mikaela?
Jack: Yes.
Me: She is very nice, isn't she?
Jack: Yes. And she is very pretty!
Yes,another nephew for me. I was at the hospital today and now into your blog here to follow all that is going on, Its always nice to look at this.
