Easter 2010

Jack is at an age where he really "gets it". He woke up and immediate looked downstairs and got all excited to see the hidden (clearly, not that hidden!) Easter eggs. And Brooke caught on real quick during the Easter egg hunt inside the house. And once she realized there were treats inside the plastic eggs, she was all about opening the eggs and eating the candies.

After hunting for Easter eggs inside and outside our house, we went over to Scott's sister's house for the day. We had a lovely lunch, another Easter egg hunt both inside and outside, and played out front. When cousin Morgan spilled her eggs out of basket, Jack was a gentleman by picking up her eggs and putting back in her basket. Sweet. And at 4 years old, Jack is already driving! He had no problem learning how to drive cousin Mia's car (see picture below). Brooke was able to nap but was woken up by the earthquake we experienced. All in all, a lovely, leisurely Easter.
