Our niece Morgan had her 2nd birthday party. They did a ladybug theme that was just adorable. During Morgan's 1st birthday party, Jack didn't eat enough of his lunch to be able to eat cake... and this year it was Brooke who refused to eat lunch so she didn't get any strawberry cake. But since she had pee-ed out of her diaper and all over her clothes right before we showed up, she did wear Morgan's clothes for the party. Loving having a cousin 6 months apart in age and wearing the same size!
My company was a sponsor of the Long Beach AIDs walk/run and it had been a while since we did our last 5K walk , so I signed us up to walk the morning before our niece's birthday party. It was a beautiful walk along the Long Beach harbor, we had good company (friend of mine through work) and it was a wonderful way to start the day. We actually got asked twice if our kiddos were twins!
