Jack's birthday party

For months all Jack has been talking about doing for his birthday party was to go to Chuck E Cheese. I tried and tried to convince him to go somewhere else (the germs and chaos of the place drives me crazy), but he was set on it and how could I deny him? For days leading up to his birthday, all he could talk about was Chuck E Cheese. And every day following his birthday, he asked if it was "the" day for Chuck E Cheese. And Sunday afternoon was "the" day.... with 18 kids - school friends, day care friends and cousins. Who knew a 5 year old could be so popular? He had a great time running around and playing. He did not want any part of the ticket blaster - where you go into this tube and tickets fly around you to catch them. So instead, Brooke and I went in to get tickets for him. Afterwards we came home and Jack opened all his presents. He received so many great things - the overall theme was legos and star wars... and he was one happy kid!
