Another fun-filled weekend

We started the weekend going to Brooke's gymnastics class. She is still just loving it. She is constantly trying to be at the front of the line so she is the first to go. (We're working on patience, flexibility and pointed toes!)
And then we were off to the Lowe's Build It Yourself Workshop. Which is always interesting when you are a single parent with two kids, while visiting with friends who are there too. There were a few smashed fingers and bent nails!
We then went to a clothing trunk show put on by a friend of mine, home for a quick lunch, then back out for a 6 year old nurf gun themed birthday party. We had purchased Jack a nurf gun (and of course a 2nd gun for Brooke to defend herself with) a week before the party so he could get use to it. And boy did he -- he had a grand time shooting the opposite team.
Later that I night, I went out for a dear friend's birthday dinner; stayed up too late but still had to get up the next morning for Jack's first t-ball game of the season.
And straight from t-ball, we went to my cousin's daughter's 3rd birthday party. No pictures were taken as I was distracted with telling the kids not to bring the lightsaber and guns into the bounce house!
