Three days before Jack's birthday, he got pulled out of class to play on a video game truck. Due to his fall fundraising, he was one of the school's top earners. In addition to the prizes he earned, he won a trip to the game truck during school hours. He was in heaven.
Two days before Jack's birthday, he earned his 2nd stripe in Jiu-Jitsu. The class is always ranked by belt color and stripe, so making an advancement is a big deal.
The day before his birthday, Jack got to open a present from Ba Oi and Pappy. Just a mental note: don't have a kid open a present right before bedtime.... makes getting to bed so much more difficult!
