I took the kids up to my parents for Memorial Weekend. I usually go up in May for my mom's birthday, but this trip was extra special because the kids also got to meet their cousin John for the first time. Both the kids were very gentle with John and loved to hold him. Most of the weekend was spent just being around John, although there were some football passes between my Dad and the kids; cherry, oranges & kumquat picking with my mom; story times; gardening; water fights; movies with Uncle Sam and just a lot of laughter. A great, relaxing trip!
