The UCLA spring game is turning into an annual tradition to go to for Scott (a huge UCLA fan, a huge college football fan). This time, we had to tailgate in the parking lot vs. the grass, which was a bit disappointing, but the kids didn't mind and after a few drinks, the boys didn't mind either. We went with our friends the Landuyts (with their 3 boys), Amy (with her 2 kids - hubby was out of town), John and Mike. It was so enjoyable -- all the kids played so well together. Us "mom's" brought plenty of toys for the kids -- who ended up playing with each other toys (instead of their own)! The big boys cooked, ate and drank. Admittedly, I didn't actually watch the game as I was chatting with the gals and keeping the kids entertained with food and playing with our blankets.
