We have been busy, busy, busy with sleep overs, getting ready for Christmas, holiday performance, birthday and holiday parties.
We have friends whose son is just slightly older than Jack and whose daughter is slightly younger than Brooke. We did a sleep over exchange where we got the boys and Brooke went to their house -- her first friend sleep over. All kids did great - no major fights or meltdowns! This was the sight I found the next morning.
Jack was invited to go to LegoLand to celebrate a friend's 7th birthday. Three of these boys all do jiu-jitsu together. Although Jack wasn't a fan of roller coasters, it was a great day.
Kids pick on Christmas trees -- just their size.
Christmas tree we ended up getting (had to get something bigger than 3 feet to fit all the presents!). Don't ask why Jack isn't wearing a shirt... his choice.
Brooke (2nd from right), had a gymnastics performance and she just LOVED it. She was beaming the entire time and loved being on stage. Not to mention, she did great with her routine!
My cousin's son's 7th birthday party. They made Star Wars lightsabers and had their own dual. Jack is on the left in the green jacket and notice the only girl (in the middle) -- that would be Brooke!
Our neighbor's 2 year old's Thomas birthday party. Most of the kids were in the 2 year old range. It was nice having a 6.5 year old and almost 5 year old where I wasn't constantly running after them!
