Pumpkin Patch
We took the kids to the Irvine Pumpkin Patch; Brooke's first time to a pumpkin patch. It was so much fun to watch them just run around, trying to pick up pumpkins, running through the maze, jumping in the bounce house (Jack), playing with the hay (Brooke), and all in all, just living in the moment with with them. Hearing them laugh while running through the maze was great. Trying to get a family shot in the maze was even fun. Being able to watch the two of them with pumpkins all around them and huge smiles on their face was surreal.
3 Year Anniversary
This past weekend marked three years from when we first met Jack in person; first time we looked into his sweet eyes, held him, hugged him, kissed him and heard is amazing laugh. He was so tiny - sleeping on his tummy with his tushie in the air, hands in the mouth, runny nose. But he was clearly ours, without a shadow of a doubt. From that first moment, he took my breath away. And three years later, he still has the capability to do so... and so much more.
