Jack's Follow Up GI Visit

Jack had another GI follow up visit to check in on his weight. He is gaining an average of 6 grams per day. A child his age should be gaining between 5 and 8 grams a day, so he is on target there. He gained about 600 grams since his last appointment (500 grams = 1 lbs). He is now just over 31 lbs and 37", so still on the smaller side for his age, but at least he is gaining weight! Next appointment isn't for 6 months.

He does better with actually eating, instead of just not eating anything for meals or days at a time. But we still struggle with how he eats; he'd rather not feed himself but if we feed him, he'll eat. They've suggested another eating therapist. The first one from the last appointment was very expensive and of course, insurance doesn't cover it. We'll have to see what this new one says.
