Happy 3rd Birthday to my baby girl!!
Poor thing has her birthday 2 days before Christmas. But we tried our best to talk up her birthday all week - and focus on her birthday vs. Christmas. This was the first year that she understood it was her birthday. She got that she was turning 3 and there were presents just for her. For about 5 days leading up to today, she'd say, "its my birthday!" And we have a pile of presents wrapped for her birthday that are sitting by the couch; and she'd say, "my presents!"
In lieu of a birthday party, we took her (and Jack) to see Disney On Ice. She has been very into Mickey and Minnie Mouse lately so we though it would be fun for her to see the Disney characters in person. She loved it - couldn't take her eyes off the ice.
