I love going up to visit my family... and here are just a few reasons why...
Mom gives Brooke hair cuts. Brooke loves them so much she asks for a hair cut every morning. She came home with much shorter hair!
There is just something special watching my Dad read to Jack.
I got to visit with my high school friend, Sara, and her three kids.
The laughter that comes from Jack, Brooke and Pappy is priceless.
Bonding with Uncle Sam.
Going to Roaring Camp...
...for a train ride through the forest...
...to Santa Cruz...
...to eat on the Boardwalk...
...and then have cuddles during a quick nap...
...on the train ride home.
Baskin Robbins ice cream.
And the best part of the trip.... my sister telling the kiddos that she is pregnant!!
Jack asked who the baby would be(come), and requested a boy cousin.
Brooke put her eye up to my sister's belly button, stating she couldn't SEE the baby in the tummy, but that the baby sounded like a snoring pig!
