Fall Festival at St. John's

Brooke's school had their fall festival -- Brooke's first school event. It lasts only about 45 minutes, but the kids love it. Each class room sets up a little station and the kids (with parents or teachers) go to each station. Brooke's class room station was little pumpkins with stuff inside of it that you had to feel and guess what it was (ex: grapes that feel like eye balls).

I was fortunate enough to take a break from work and attend the event with her. Strangely enough, she was clingy to me. But as soon as she found the crafts table, she was focused on gluing fuzzy balls to her card. She had a great time showing me around her playground and I was able to met some other Moms.

Unfortunately, that afternoon Brooke woke up from her nap crying because her ears hurt. A quick run to the doctor confirmed a double ear infection (8 out of 10 in 1 ear and 6 out of 10 in another ear). Now I know why she was clingy!
