My sister is expecting their first child at the end of February so we threw her a baby shower this past weekend. Mom has been in a flurry getting the house ready and food ready. My sister's mother-in-law got the favors and game prizes put together. A good friend of my sister's did the boards for the games.
We had just over 30 guests and my sister was showered with gifts. The kids were excited to "help Nini with the presents"....meaning they can't open or play with the presents themselves! But they helped to collect the presents and then give them to my sister to open. All in all, it was a great day celebrating my sister and our newest-to-be nephew or niece.

The kids helped Uncle Sam load up the baby presents into the new wagon to load into the car.
Pappy teaching Jack how to tie shoes. Pappy and I paid him a nickel for every successful tie; Ba Oi paid him a quarter!
Jack was still trying to earn money to buy a Star Wars Bobba Fett gun, so he did chores around the house... such as cleaning the windows.
