Strawberry Picking

We took the kids to Tanka Farms in Irvine for strawberry picking. We rode on a tractor (which Jack now wants one...) around the farm while we were educated on the fruits and vegetables that were grown there. Did you know that fruits have seeds and veggies do not?

As we went through the farm, we were able to sample several of the produce. Carrots were the biggest hit with both kids, although I think Scott was most impressed with the onion. But of course, the highlight was the actual strawberry picking. Which ended up being me picking our three crates of strawberries while the kids and Scott ate everything they picked!
